INTEGRAL BLINDS

If you want some of our beautiful windows and doors but are concerned about maintaining the privacy in your home, our integral blind range is the answer you need! These blinds are built within the glass units, keeping the profile of the window or door clear and unencumbered. Perfect for products such as our bi-folding doors, sliding doors, windows, and french door but to name a few, these blinds absolutely do not detract from the product, but can enhance it with available choices of style, colour, and added extras.

These blinds are a neat and stylish alternative to other products which are bulky, such as curtains, or other blinds which are attached onto the glass or the wall above a window or door and take up valuable cill-space. They do not inhibit the opening and closing of our products as they fit into the profile, and so can be added to almost any product and are absolutely perfect for orangery shading.

These blinds are maintenance free and completely hygienic and they are sealed within the glass unit. They are also child-friendly as they can be cordless, eliminating a potential threat for family homes, and they cannot suffer any damage from weather or human accidents as they are constantly protected by a glass shield. All our blinds carry a 5-year manufacturer guarantee for peace of mind.

Not only are these blinds stylish and practical, they also help to regulate temperature when closed by keeping heat out in the summer months, and heat in during the winter months. They are argon filled units with a double seal to ensure the external weather will not penetrate the unit and damage the blind. They can be fitted in any unit size form 300mm to 2600mm wide, and can even be retro-fitted into doors and windows so you needn't but a new profile. They are also available in triple glazed units for those extra eco-conscious customers!

Designed in Italy and manufactured in the UK, our available styles are Venetian or Pleated blinds. Please read on to find out the difference between these two styles and find out out what design options are available to you.

Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are made up of horizontal slats, which allows for the constant adjustment of light able to enter the room at any given time. They can offer privacy and light flow simultaneously should you wish, and can come in 10 different colour options. The most popular colour choice is S159 which is equivalent to the 7016 Anthracite grey RAL colour, and was developed for the Venetian blinds based on popular demand.

The venetian blinds come with a choice of 5 different control systems from manual to fully automated, detailed in Control Systems below.

Pleated Blinds

Our range of pleated blinds are made from woven polyester fabric and are available in a range of colours. This designs allows a soft diffusion of light into a room, and makes them suited to rooms that suffer condensations such as kitchens and bathrooms.

The pleated design is an elegant and attractive one, which allows for a softer internal ambience. These blinds have a choice of 5 control systems detailed in Control Systems below.

Control Systems

There are five operating systems available with these blinds. The manual ones include; a manual corded option offering a choice of chord, knob, or wand; a cordless slider; or a magnetic slider.

For those who prefer automated systems, we can offer a fully automated blind opening system that can be connected to the mains and blind operations can be controlled through a remote control or a wall mounted operating panel. Blinds can be operated individually, or up to 12 blinds can be operated in synchronisation.

The last option is also an eco-friendly automated choice, where you are provided you with a battery operated motorised blind which is recharged through an external solar panel.
